FAQ

Keister-Williams Has History Since 1939

Keister-Williams was actually two separate companies. Williams Newspaper Features Syndicate Inc.,formed in 1939 by C.T. Williams, was obtained by G. Walton Lindsay in 1973. Keister Advertising Services was formed in 1944 by Earl Keister. It was purchased in 1984 and the two companies were merged into Keister- Williams Newspaper Services, Inc. Since the merging in 1984, the company has gone through many transformations. The most recent ones involve account servicing and the use of technology. We have invested heavily in a new customer information system, corporate Email, and this website. We have done this to support our expansion and maintain our emphasis on customer service with new selling approaches, billing options, and products. This website is just one example.

Chairmain Announces 300th customer

"Being the best has made us the biggest"

Walt Lindsay, Chairman, announced recently that Keister-Williams has signed it's 300th customer. Says Walt, "These are newspapers that have hired us to sell sponsors and service their church pages. With the trust of so many newspapers I think even more will contract with us. It seems that so many are short-staffed and looking for revenue from existing pages."
